The Marble Hill Singers are a SW London-based Chamber Choir formed in 1989 by friends who loved singing together. Balance in the vocal parts is carefully controlled, and any vacancies that do arise are normally filled by invitation. Many of the members also sing with the Twickenham Choral Society.
The choir uses St Mary's Twickenham as its base and performs regularly there and has given numerous concerts in Twickenham and the locality. The Marble Hill Singers have made many overseas concert tours, most recently to Florence, Hamburg and Leiden.
They have also given many concerts to support the charitable work of the Down's Syndrome Association at Normansfield in Teddington.
Their repertoire is wide, both sacred and entertaining and ranges from Renaissance polyphony to premieres of newly commissioned music.
